Role: Bigdata/Hadoop Developer

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 9 months

Rate: $80/hr on Corp-Corp

Will hire from a phone interview.

Description:

What they are looking for on Hadoop:  Managers notes: We are seeking someone that can bring some new knowledge to the table. Someone with Oracle or SQL development skills (not DBA) and has had some experience or exposure to Hadoop Map/reduce

Should have hands on experience with the following:

They need to have been involved in developing the data loading and extraction processes for big data analysis.

Additional options.

●Proposed backup storage server which will store the files in the Hadoop archive format, efficient for small files problem in

Hadoop. (Team)

●Design and implement Hadoop MapReduce algorithm

●Proposed as improvement to Hadoop for improving speculative

execution in the Hadoop for heterogeneous environment.
