The nature of this role is to support a wide range of technical
duties associated with the development and test environment support
of enterprise IT systems.
Experience requirements:
•3+ years experience designing, building and supporting enterprise class
Windows server environments
•Demonstrated understanding of IT Infrastructure
•Solid oral and written communication skills
•Demonstrated use of project management skills
•Experience managing concurrent activities in a fast paced environment
•Good documentation skills
Skills required:
1. OS and Web Server Administrator
a. Windows Security
b. VBScript, Powershell & Windows command line
c. Windows 2003 Server, Windows Server 2008 Administration
d. Active Directory
e. Windows web technologies like IIS, JBoss, Apache, Tomcat
f. Virtualization technologies such as VMWare
2. Performance monitoring and capacity planning experience is required
3. Experience in supporting one or more of the following technologies:
a. .NET applications
b. Java applications
c. Microsoft BizTalk
d. Microsoft SQL Server
e. Cognos
f. Informatica
g. Autosys is a plus.
Key Responsibilities include:
•Assistance in deployment and configuration of application runtime environments across a broad base of technologies.
•Creation and monitoring of application and infrastructure performance reports.
•Maintenance of application and server configuration data.
•Defining server requirements for new infrastructure as required.
•Monitoring development and test environments for performance and testing issues.
•Assisting development teams with support requests related to infrastructure and environments.
•Creating documentation such as status reports, set-up procedures, configuration details, issue tracking, root cause analysis, and maintaining Visio diagrams.
•This role supports development and testing teams in US, London and India.
