Description:

QUALITY TOOLS ADMIN- THIS IS NOT A QA AUTOMATION TESTER.


Extensive experience administering or use of Quality Center, QTP, Performance Center Has performed upgrades of toolset from one version to next Has experience with administration of QTP and Performance Center

Ø  Setup of new users

Ø  Install of client desktop tools

Ø  Setup of performance center projects

Ø  Administration of repositories Has experience as Quality Center/Test Director Admin / Tech Lead

Ø  Responsible for Installing and Configuring TD, QC, QA Automation servers.

Ø  Experienced in upgrading test director and quality center.

Ø  Experienced in debugging Test Director and SQL trace for DB checkpoints.

Ø  Experienced in setting parameters for Site Config

Ø  Writing custom macros in Excel to import the Test Plans to Test Director.

Ø  Customizing Test Director as per industrial standards.

Ø  Setup the e-Mail system with SMTP or IIS SMTP protocols.

Ø  Customizing Test Director/QC Defect tracking module using VB Scripting.

Ø  Experienced in installation of all types Automation tool, Add-Ins, and 3rd party connectivity tools.

Ø  Involved in integrating QC & Setup Dashboard Responsible in preparation of test plans, test cases, and execution

Ø   Creating Test Beds to test the application as per group settings.

Ø  Involved in setting up Load Runner Servers, Performance Test Servers for different Virtual Users.

Ø  Developed numerous Load Scripts based upon the functionality

Ø  Experience in creating project plan and test plan, according to business.

Ø  Responsible for test preparation, execution, reporting, and supervising daily activities of team.

Ø  Responsible for preparing the systems overview both in text and graphical format.

Ø  Developing test methodologies for stress, load, and performance testing.

Ø  Coordinating with business users, project managers, and team leaders.

Ø  Lead the project admins.

Ø  Setup Projects, Adding New Users, and setup privileges within Quality Center.

Ø  Setup Dashboards and provide the technical support to Quality Center users

Ø  Technical support to the Quality Center Users and Projects.

Ø  Conduct project release/cycle completeness status meetings with the upper management.

Ø  Prepare Training Materials for RIM users.

Ø  As an admin, supporting Tool issues.

Ø  Upload Documents, Reports into Live Link.

Ø  Interacted with Business Users, Developers, and Testers to resolve the issues within the Quality Center.

Ø  Creating custom Templates for Quality Center projects.

 

Setup Projects, Adding New Users, and setup privileges, Customizing Modules within Quality Center.

Ø  Technical support to the Quality Center Users and Projects.

Ø  Conduct status meetings with project managers/team leads on their release/cycle executions.

Ø  Setup live calls to resolve the Requirement and Test Plan issues based on current release/cycle.

Ø  Conduct daily status meetings to evaluate and resolve the defect log(s).

Ø  Provide the guide lines on Tools to Team Coordinators/Team Leads.

Ø  Setup QA workflow meetings with the project management and end users.

Ø  Generate and Document the Metrics, Scorecards based upon releases and projects.

Ø  Daily and/or weekly meetings will be holding on metrics, scorecards and GO/NO-GO.

Ø  Conduct Root-Cause Analysis meetings.

Ø  Trending Reports for Defect Management.

Ø  Developed API(s) and Writing OTA(s) to fetch the data from Quality Center Tool.

Ø  SQL(s) to fetch the data from all different modules from all projects by using Excel Reports application which is available within the Quality Center Tool or SQL server Authentication.

Ø  Excel Macros, API(s) to generate the custom reports, after gathering the input information by using SQL(s).

Ø  As an admin, supporting Tool issues.

Ø  Involved in migration from 9.2 to 10.0

Ø  Uploading Documents, Reports into Share Point.

Ø  Interacting with Business Users, Developers, and Testers to resolve the issues within the Quality Center.
