High Level Description This position is for a senior Web/Application developer to join business focused Prime Brokerage Technology team. The job requires deep understanding of distributed high performance application, Web / Portal development.
Detailed Description:Senior developer with a minimum of 8-10+ years of professional experience in designing, developing, deploying and supporting web based applications. Person must have experience in building high performance, low latency, scalable and flexible web applications. Person should have good understanding of web/portal usability principals.
Required Technical Skills:
Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, ExtJS / GWT based framework, Oracle, Mavan.
Desirable Technical Skills:
Distributed Caching (Any experience with Gigaspace is a plus), Web Services.
Personal Traits:
Able to work well with a small, focused, talented team
Proactive and eager problem solver
Pragmatic and delivery-oriented
Experience communicating with Front Office personnel
Desirable Business Knowledge:Experience with prime brokerage products and capital market structure
