Job Description:

Position   : Sr. Java Engineer (Team Lead)

Location   : Irvine, CA

Duration  : 1 Year

Interview Process:  Phone and hire.  If local, phone and in-person.

 

Description and Duties:

 

Supervises and performs hands on programming for a major project, or several smaller projects

 

Position requires 7 - 10 years IT experience with specific emphasis on process design and software development. Additionally consultant will have 1 - 2 years' experience in a team lead capacity.

 

The successful consultant will have solid experience with the following: design and software development in Java and J2EE technologies in a high performance, multi-tier, load balanced environment.  Object-orientated software design and development, and experience with Servlets, EJB's and XML processing

 

The following skills will also be required:

 

J2EE Web Services SOA, Hibernate, Swing and ESB Experience with JDBC in a high performance database Environment.  Apache Web Server, Websphere App Server. Linux MQ Series, Rational

Clearcase, At least 3 years prior Pharma or Biotech experience.

 

Any certifications from Sun Micro Systems (SCJP,

SCWCD, SCBCD, SCDJWS, SCEA) or IBM is a plus for this position.
