Location: Austin, TX
Duration: Until June 2013

Job description:
Project Manager will be responsible for the rollout of the staff and student Unique ID product from eScholar to 1237 school districts. The required duties include:
•Creating a rollout and project plan
•Implementing the rollout and tracking project progress
•Identifying and resolving project issues and risks
• Work with eScholar to develop and implement a training plan
•Work with TEA PMs to understand and track dependencies
•Ensure the effective use of the tool in all school districts and charter schools in Texas
•Work with the eScholar project manager to ensure a seamless implementation
•Communicates status to stakeholders and project team


Minimum Requirements:
Years        Skills/Experience
10    Demonstrated proficiency in project management.
10    Experience providing PM for the implementation and deployment of enterprise level applications.
10    Experience developing and validating user requirements.
10    Strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills in data related projects.
10    Must be able to demonstrate he/she possess solid oral and written communication skills
10    Ability to show initiative, good analytical skills.
10    Experience with education related applications and education data analysis.

Degree or Equivalent -- Must have a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or an Information System related field from an accredited institution.
