Client has a need for a QA professional with User Test experience to assist with modernizing its in-house developed software. This is an on-site opportunity, based in Albany NY for approximately 6+ months.
Consultant will review design specifications, create test plans, write test scripts, execute test procedures and generate defect reports; work with the Applications Development staff and Business End Users, as part of team assembled for modernization and maintenance projects; work with a project team to convert legacy mainframe applications to server and web based applications.
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:
- 5 years experience reviewing design documents, developing use cases and creating test plans within SDLC
- 4 years experience software testing
- 2 years experience using HP Quality Center
- 1 year experience using BluePrint and Visual Studio (for load testing)
- Familiarity with MS.NET, Oracle 11g and PL/SQL
- Experience providing documentation
