Job Description (Please provide summary of the position):
Responsible for overall successful execution of Pilot in Product Management
area in Insurance Agency, a unit of USAA San Antonio. Consultant must carry
out end-to-end process analysis of the Insurance Agency unit and suggest
business model effectiveness through identification of opportunities for
improvement in the existing processes and suggest implementable changes both
in business process and the supported IT systems to drive efficiency and
productivity improvements.

Responsibilities:
· Lead Pilot Project results and deliver change within the given
timeframe of 4 months
· Responsible for all activities right from inception of the Pilot
Project (Data Collection phase to Recommendation phase) until the final
review of the recommendations by the clients
· TCS point of contact to the client till the pilot logical closure
· Carry out Feasibility study, Cost benefit analysis, Business Model
Effectiveness of the Proposed recommendations
· Plan & Organize collection of inputs, shadowing on existing
processes, setting up interviews and meetings as may be required for
execution of the pilot
· Drive acceptance of project deliverables
· Drive project management processes, especially plan, issue, change
and quality management
· Provide overall direction over current state diagnosis, improvement
opportunity identification and future state design and associated change
risks
· Lead critical workshops especially Voice of the Customer (VoC)
interviews, Value Stream Mapping reviews, Diagnostic Readout reviews,
Improvement Opportunity reviews and Future State Design reviews
· Provide Knowledge transition to the execution team for implementing
the OFI's suggested


Qualifications: (Please list all required qualifications)
· Six Sigma Master Black Belt
· Bachelor's Degree in Science or Technology
· Ability to design, develop and implement IT or business processes
changes
· At least 8 years of experience working in IT
· At least 5 years of consulting experience of which 3 years must be
as a project lead
· At least 3 years on experience in Insurance domain
· Deep knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma tools and methods, Business
Process Management, Change Management and Business Process Re-engineering
· Strong demonstrated project management skills
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to work well with culturally diverse environment
· Ability to rapidly master client specific process, methods, models
and tools
· Strong facilitation and presentation skills
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
· Skills and experience in end-to-end process analysis, design and
improvement to rapidly deliver quantitative and qualitative business
outcomes
· Ability to produce high quality written and verbal communication
· Strong PC skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio,
Blueworks, Minitab

Desirable Skills:
· Masters in MIS or MBA
· Good knowledge of CMMI, ITIL, COBIT
· Can work independently to deliver result
· Team player and collaborative working style
· Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines and make
project adjustments accordingly
· Can effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure
environment
