Web User Interface Application Developer

Dover, NH

12 months

 

Core Responsibilities for all developer roles:

•Work with business analysts and developers to create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

•Ensure that all application functionality works within a variety of browsers and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design.

•Participate in efforts to improve quality of web applications.

•Participate in code and design reviews.

•Troubleshoot code defects and deploy timely fixes.

•Research new tools and technologies for use within the group.

•Contribute to the continuing technical education of the group.

•Create and maintain technical documentation.

•May provide on-call support as needed.

Web User Interface Application Developer

 

Qualifications:

•Experience in developing offline, dynamic, rich internet applications using JavaScript based MVC/MVVM frameworks.

•Experience in designing responsible web application layouts using popular CSS frameworks/preprocessors.

•Thorough understanding of CSS3/HTML5/REST capabilities for designing efficient/effective web applications.

•Prior experience in implementing test driven development/continuous integration for web2.0 applications.

•Object oriented JavaScript skills.

•Prior experience in Dojo/Jquery desired.

•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

•Good verbal and written communication skills.

•B.A. or B.S. in computer science or related field-or equivalent academic and work experience.

 

Additional:

•Experience in developing web applications with offline support using MVC/MVVM frameworks such as backbone.js/knockout.js/angular.js is preferred.

•Experience in designing responsible web application layouts using CSS frameworks/preprocessors such as Twitter bootstrap, Compass/SASS, LESS.

•Experience in UI frameworks such as Dojo/Jquery.

•Prior experience with CoffeeScript will be an added advantage.
