Sr. Windows Administrator
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 6 months


Senior Windows Systems administrator to assist our Bay Area Engineering Compute Team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for performing specific tasks related to the development, integration, and general support of various solutions deployed in our environment

Skills/Experience Qualifications (Skills/Experience):
Comprehensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, commands, and utilities
Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
Experience with DRM, Build Farms, or similar SW development environments.
Good understanding of LAN networking, including routing protocols, and be capable of interpreting output from a packet analyzer.
Microsoft Active Directory Services
Microsoft Windows Support Tools
Expert in at least one windows editor and capable of functioning in others
Automating manual, repetitive tasks, either via scripting or using standard tools
Good communicator with superb verbal, written, and presentation skills
 Excellent customer service skills a must
 
Responsibilities (Role):
Windows Build Farm environment support
Linux OS support (Engineering Labs, Office, & Data Center)
Windows OS support (Engineering Labs & Data Center)
EDA Workflow/tool issues/root cause analysis
Log message root cause analysis and debug
Services Documentation & Training material development
 
Education:
This position requires a BS/MS in CS or EE.
