Project Description:

My client's compliance division has developed an eLearning suite of products delivered in a SaaS model. The platform development group (team this role will join) is responsible for the Design, Development and delivery of updates an enhancements to the core product as well as escalated issue resolution on the support side.

Consultant's Day to day responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and development of object-oriented software solutions as a part the eLearning product suite

• Architect and develop innovative software in small teams using cutting-edge technologies, with an emphasis on Microsoft .NET components and tool

• Recommend and design technical improvements to maximize productivity and data exploitation & management

• Deliver projects on-time and to specification with an appropriate level of quality

• Collaborate with product managers, program managers, human computer interaction specialists, customers and prospects to gather and define requirements

• Thoroughly understands user agents (web and mobile browsers, screen readers, search engine robots, etc.)

• Work in a collaborative development environment, providing assistance and technical guidance to less experienced team members

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in Microsoft .NET and related technologies

• Ideally in a SaaS based product development environment

• Distributed component technologies (web services, SOA etc)

• Ability to develop web services from

• Database design and development and data modeling (SQL, XML)

• Fundamentals of computer science: object-oriented design and design patterns, data structures, algorithms. Experience with life-cycle development and architecture of enterprise level applications with relational or XML based web application

• Must be able to answer specific OO/Fundamentals based questions during the phone interview
