Experience working with ArcSight or other SIEM tools is preferred. Previous Network/Information Security experience and a current RHCE credential are preferred. Develop scripts (Perl, shell, awk, sed) to solve problems, generate reports, and automate tasks.
Description:	E Education: Bachelor's Degree   Telecom Industry experience is preferred.     Other Skills/Job Responsibilities: ---------------------------------     About the Job: This is a senior technical role. Principal responsibilities include systems administration of critical infrastructure and internal customer support. This position requires demonstrated competence of RHE Linux systems administration, general networking, and information security. This position requires the ability to work independently with little technical supervision.   Responsibilities include:  Develop scripts (Perl, shell, awk, sed) to solve problems, generate reports, and automate tasks  Troubleshoot and resolve OS, network, and application errors  Build, configure, and manage health and status monitoring tools and services  Configure, secure, and manage RHE Linux servers in a multi-user environment  Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to explain and document ideas  Maintain documentation of processes, procedures, and change records  Other duties assigned by GSOC management   Requirements:  A minimum of five years of experience managing multiple Linux/UNIX systems in an enterprise environment is required.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate intermediate to advanced skill using command line shell.  Candidates must demonstrate intermediate to advanced skill using regular expressions.  Candidates must demonstrate working knowledge of common infrastructure services such as SSH, DNS, DHCP, NTP, HTTP, and SMTP.  Experience working with Nagios and SNMP is preferred.  Experience working with ArcSight or other SIEM tools is preferred.  Previous Network/Information Security experience and a current RHCE credential are preferred.   Work Schedule The regular schedule is weekday business hours but irregular hours may be required in response to important projects or operational emergencies.   This position will require 24/7 on-call readiness as directed by GSOC management.   Travel This position requires no more than 10% travel.
