· Deep technical and functional expertise in one or more of the following Sterling Commerce/Yantra modules (5+ years): Sterling Distributed Order Management, Sterling Selling & Fulfillment Foundation, Sterling Global Inventory Visibility, Sterling Reverse Logistics, and Sterling Call Center/ Store Operations
·
Expert knowledge of Sterling Order Management System components, API's, and related Interfaces
·
Full lifecycle implementation experience on several large, complex Sterling Commerce/Yantra solution implementations in retail environment
·
Must possess working knowledge of Unix, Linux Red Hat, C++, Java, and XML,
·
Deep knowledge of Java programming (Servlets, JSP, EJB, JDBC, Swing); XML, XML parsers, and XSL Oracle and SQL Server databases: database sizing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Java certification is a definite plus
·
Ability to understand a client's strategy/vision and help the client with long term road-map planning as a trusted advisor and long term partner
·
Ability to lead and mentor teams, always sharing your knowledge with team members such that everyone benefits by association with the architect.
·
Ability to stand before the customer with ease and lead a group of participants through to best-practice solutions. Must possess great persuasiveness. Adapt at thinking and acting on their feet. Ability to work collaboratively even under difficult situations
·
Ability to honestly and frankly proffer advice and influence without hurting egos; diplomatic and tactful in all situations
·
Ability to understand and balance power/political groups on the client-side and other 3rd party vendors
·
Evidences high energy, determination, optimism and dynamism
·
Ability to travel 20%
