Role: Datawarehouse Admin
Location: Richmond, VA
Rate: $DOE
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months to start with.
REQUIREEMNT:
· Must be an expert in Data Warehousing (DW) and Business Intelligence(BI) concepts (from data acquisiton to end delivery).
· Strong Teradata and/or Informatica technical background including DB Design, application design, performance tuning
· Experience in DW and BI environments.
· Experience designing DW and BI solutions
· Experience working with ETL tools such as Informatica
· Experience with end-users tools such as BusinessObjects, SAS and Microsoft Analysis Services
· Ability to work and communicate with both the business and technical experts
Pluses would be:
1. Data Architect experience
2. Experience with Teradata, GreenPlum, MS SQL Server
3. Background in the healthcare industry
4. Experienace with Operating Systems: Windows, UNIX
5. Worked in multi-terabytes DW environments
6. Experience with delivering applications through the internet.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create/Assist with detailed design document (DAD) for data integration and/or business intelligence activities
Review and approve data integration strategies involving BusinessObjects, Teradata, and /or Informatica
Develop and enforce optimized code for Informatica and Teradata
Complex troubleshooting of Informatica/Teradata
This person's responsibility will include working with the Information Management (IM) Business Intelligence Solutions and Data Solutions teams, Information Architecture, IM Business teams, and other IT areas to evaluate new products and services, create standards, create technical solutions, and work with the development teams to ensure standards and solutions are implemented according to the Information Management Reference Architecture
