EMC Storage Consultant with 3PAR experience

Secaucus, NJ

12 months +

 

3PAR & EMC VNX Storage NAS professional:

·        Experience on 3par storage implementation build

·        Strong knowledge of Virtual provisioning, Common Provisioning Groups and Virtual Volumes

·        Strong knowledge of technologies including MPIO, Virtual and Physical copies

·        Remote Copies Strong knowledge of VLUNs and hosts addition

·        Experience on EMC  VNX  build, implementation

·        Experience on hp XP / EVA would be an added advantage

·        Exposure to Configuring the RAID Groups and LUNs – GUI & CLI –VNX

·        Worked extensively in integration of EMC  VNX  SAN & NAS, control station, data mover   Storage Array into the USER / AD environment

·        Experience on configuring the quotas, User mapping, snapshot and remote copy (DR facilities) of EMC Celera / VNX NAS server

·        Creating and managing the Virtual  data mover

·        SAN Fabric knowledge like zoning, ISL, Vsan.

·        Extensive Knowledge  on SAN Switch management  and Administration

·        Zoning Experience - Hard , Soft &  Mixed

·        Extensive skill in trouble shooting switch problems / Issues

·        Knowledge on Fabric Switch Management Tools  - DCFM etc

·        Administration of EMC based NAS Storage Systems

·        CIFS configuration/administration (shares, access permissions)

·        NAS multi-protocol administration (interaction between UNIX and Windows access)

·        Perform first level Troubleshooting of Problems / Errors in NAS and SAN Storage Systems

·        Experience on Performance Analysis and fine tune the Overall Storage Performance

·        Track Storage Systems' Capacity and Propose Appropriate Measures proactively
