Job Description:
• Senior MS SQL Server Developer
• Strong hands on experience in T-SQL on MS SQL Server 2008
• Development and optimization of Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions and Views
• Optimal query design techniques, strong knowledge of Transactions and Concurrency, Dynamic SQL, Error handling
• Knowledge and experience in applying appropriate TSQL constructs – Table Expressions, XML manipulation, Set operations, Pivot/Unpivot
• Requirements review, database impact analysis, design and implementation of projects of varied complexity
• Strong experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages, SQL Server batch processing
• SQL Server Performance Tuning and Optimization, experience with SQL Profiler and SQL Debugger
• Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Knowledge of ClearCase and Visual Studio 2008/2010 preferred
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams facilitating decisions on new features and problem resolution
• Conduct software issue investigation and defect analysis and provide timely corrective actions
• Participate in release deployment activities
