Duration: 6+ months
Job Description:
· Undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent work experience required.
· 5+ years experience developing with Java, JavaScript and Object Oriented Javascript
· Strong knowledge of Web Application MVC architecture and Servlet/JSP programming
· Knowledge accessing MySql via JDBC.
· Knowledge of Tomcat technologies and tools such as Ant.
· 5+ years experience with Web Development technologies such as AJAX, JSTL, HTML, DHTML, CSS and XML
· Demonstrates usable knowledge of at least one structured programming language.
· Experience with technology and development cycles employing test driven development and source control
· Experience working on projects using an Agile software development methodology.
· 5+ years experience with Object Oriented Design and Development. Must have strong understanding of Object Oriented principles and be able to apply them to real-world problems.
· Experience interfacing to frameworks such as Hibernate, Struts, Spring and YUI with Java and Javascript.
DESIRED SKILLS:
· Strong Database skills; indexes, normalization, stored procedures, views, entity-relationships
· Experience working with Linux and Apache web server platforms.
· Experience developing with Flash and Action Script.
