Senior Java/J2EE Developer

 

Location: Woodcliff Lake, NJ

Duration: 9 months

Skills:

1.     8+ years Java (including JDK 5), J2EE, Application Servers (Glassfish, WebLogic)

2.     8+ years relational databases, DB2 or Oracle.

3.     8+ years User Interface definition and development, including JSF, RichFaces, JSP, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript

4.     Strong understanding of object oriented design and development, including UML

5.     JPA using Eclipse Link, Hibernate, or other persistence implementation

6.     EJB 3.0 experience using annotations and dependency injection

7.     Eclipse IDE, JUnit, Eclipse plugins.

8.     Build/Deploy experience, including CVS and Ant

9.     Message processing experience, including MQ Series and JMS

10.   Web Services, preferably JAX-WS, knowledge of WSDL and SOAP

11.   Ajax and dynamic web page generation techniques and concepts

12.   Open Source experience researching, evaluating and utilizing Large scale complex application development and testing

13.   Lifecycle methodology development

14.   Structured testing and defect management, preferably with Mercury products

15.   Excellent written and oral communications

16.   BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

 

Preferred Skills:

1.     Maven and Subversion Experience

2.     Experience programmatically generating Excel and PDFs with POI and FOP

3.     PL/SQL

4.     Automotive industry experience

5.     Experience on projects with globally dispersed project teams

6.     Experience developing Struts

7.     Applications with JSP
