Job Title : Web sphere Message Broker support engineer
Work Location : Minneapolis, MN
Relevant Experience (Yrs): 2 – 3 Years
Technical/Functional Skills: Strong Message Broker knowledge & with hands on experience WMQ, WMB 6.0, 7.1. Experience in implementation, support and rollout projects. Exposure to ITIL framework & Quality Center for defects. Preferred experience in Retail domain.
Experience Required 3 – 4 years
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Attend and fix production issues. Handling Incident Management and Work Request.
· Coordination with client and Business users for Incident management.
· Analyze application stability and take action accordingly.
· Identify temporary fix and restore issues in within defined SLA.
· Identify recurring issues and provide permanent fix through Problem Management.
· Identify design gaps and propose solutions
· Identify support Role requirements for new releases
Generic Managerial Skills:
· Willingness to work in a collaborative onsite\offshore support model
· Proposal of solutions for design gaps and problem management
· Use of metrics to support continual transition improvement
