Need ------ Web Services Build and Deploy Engineer

Duration : 6-12 months

Analysis,  Design and Deployment (Infrastructure Projects) *,   and 2+ Yrs.,
J2EE Clustering *,   and 2+ Yrs.,
Java/J2EE Technologies *,   and 2+ Yrs.,
Unix *,   and 2+ Yrs.

Need of a software developer whose primary responsibility will include daily code builds and deployments in support of multiple projects.

A web services development background is preferred. This person will also take on release planning responsibility in addition to tracking defects that have been fixed by the development team. ,
• Perform nightly builds ,
• Deploy built modules to development servers ,
• Adding new features to build script to simplify the process ,
• Preparing build notes for modules that changed ,
• Coordination with Quality Assurance team ,
• Coordination with development team to communicate build failures ,
• Maintaining and updating the Wiki with build and release notes. ,
• Coordinating Release planning activities with the Technical lead and Project manager ,

The following are a list of overall skills desired : ,
• Must have knowledge of Subversion configuration management ,
• Must have experience in jacl or jython scripting ,
• Must have build management experience ,
• Must be well versed in Service Oriented Technology ,

Other knowledge: ,
• Prior experience with Websphere Process Server preferred ,
• Prior experience with Websphere Integration Developer preferred ,
• Working knowledge of Solaris Education/Experience ,

Skills , o Verbal and written communication skills,  problem solving skills,  customer service and interpersonal skills (Required) , o Ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required) , o Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required) , o Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis,  through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring,  to development,  testing and delivery (Required) , o Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue,
