Title: SAP Consultant (GL Conversion)
Duration: 3 to 9 months
Position Type: Contract
Location: Lake Forest, IL, United States
Description:
- New GL conversion. Similar to an implementation but want someone who has done at least 2 conversions before.
- They need to know the technical side of SAP to do things like set up new tables and install SAP notes. Along with having a functional background.
- They need to have data conversion experience
- 10 years of experience with SAP.
- Must work independently with good communication skills. This person will be working directly with C Level professionals.
- 3 main strengths are the ability to work independently, communication skills and technical skills.
- They must know/understand technical configuration and documentation.
- Must have strong convincing skills with the ability to talk to IT, Business, Security, Infrastructure, etc all departments and be able to say why it needs to be done this way.
- Must have a good work ethic with an onsite presence.
- 40 hours minimum 8 hours a day.
- This person will be expected to do a good knowledge transfer at the end of the project.
- Will be liaison with SAP Americas. When they do implementations/conversion they need to keep in touch with SAP and they need to be part of the process. This person will be working closely and problem solving with them.
