Need Informatica Developer with Datawarehouse at NYC (Sure Shot Closure) (Immeidate Placement)

We have an immediate requirement on ,

 

Position : Informatica Developer

Location : NYC

Duration : 6 Months +

 

Main Function

This role will function as Informatica Developer in the Datawarehouse space. The team is responsible to deliver the MIS, client analytics requirements and compliance requests for the Cash Equities business in US.

 

In addition the candidate will be expected to work with their counterparts in the Europe and Asia to ensure that we create a global MIS & Data warehouse strategy.

 

Main Duties

•             Work with the business analysts to create and review business requirements

•             Create functional & technical documentation in line with the corporate standards

•             Work with Europe and Asia counterparts to implement a global strategy for MIS and data warehouse

•             Provide input into and/or manage our ongoing Data Quality initiatives

 

Person Requirements

Essential Skills

•             Data warehouse methodologies experience is mandatory (Ralph Kimball preferred)

•             Informatica PowerCenter experience is mandatory

•             Experience working in Netezza is preferred

•             UNIX Scripting is mandatory

•             Experience using relational database systems (Oracle) – database modelling, engineering, optimization is mandatory

•             Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, should be able to multitask and switch gears quickly

•             Strong communicator and be able to interface with Application teams and add value

•             Business Objects XI experience is nice to have

 

Beneficial Skills

Use of tools that will expose data to users via a web based interface
