I need an experienced Oracle DBA (AIX people only) with the below skill set. Please only send people who communicate very well and have proven experience.

The client is Ecolab in St. Paul, MN.
Local to MN is always preferred but not required. They will do phone interviews, if necessary.

· Oracle DB design and build
Position Description:
This resource is responsible for the following:
· Initial Oracle install and configuration (including AIX guidance/config)
· Informatica MDM database install and support
· Tuning the Oracle data base
· Backup/Recovery setup for hot backup using Rman
· Guidance on Disaster Recovery within AIX lpar environment.
· Support turnover
Background: (Description of role, responsibilities, and type of deliverables within the project or group)
Primary Responsibilities:
· Work with project teams in the design, development and deployment of Oracle database for Informatica MDM solution using domain technologies. Guidance includes, but is not limited to:
· Partnering with project managers, solution and technical architects related to decisions and estimates for the Oracle database
· Creation of documentation per project delivery methodology
· Timely delievery on requirements / tasks assigned
· Providing accurate updates on required tasks
Required Skills / Experience:
· Oracle DBA – 8+ years experience
o Oracle installation and configuration
o Oracle tuning including hot backup (rman) and HA
· AIX – 5+ years experience
· Strong technical acumen
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently, manage tasks to timely completion and appropriately escalate issues as required.
· 3+ years experience of working with Oracle DB's
· Exposure to Informatica helpful
