JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an ABAP report painter for a Finance project.  The main role of this person would be utilizing written reports.  They would also need to be able to work with some offshore ABAP programmers to help with communication between the project team here (Tampa) and the offshore programmers. It would be a heavy heads-down reports position, having the developer take existing reports, download into excel, massage data and create reports for business users with SAP ABAP Report Writer/Report Painter. The requirements have already been gathered and documented, but the developer would still have to have strong communication skills to be able to make iterations to requirements. This project revolves around the implementation of SAP material ledger and the automation of the inventory system for all materials.
 

Traditionally difficult for straight developer to fill role, as they would be partial to use their own reporting tools, verses adoption to use standardized SAP libraries, tables, row/column models, etc.

·         SAP ABAP Report Painter/Writer  – If candidate has Report Writer, can easily transfer knowledge to Report Painter as it fulfills a function similar to Report Writer, but is a bit easier.

·         SAP FI and CO technical expertise
