Project Overview:

Responsibilities:
Primary Purpose:
The Senior Manager, Integrations will be responsible for ESB and SOA architecture development and execution. The candidate will be responsible for designing global SOA architecture, onboarding the IS organization to the use of both ESB and ETL products, as well as ensuring that all integrations are successfully developed and implemented to meet data integrity, reporting and analysis requirements. The candidate will oversee the development activities of a team of ESB/SOA developers, as well as manage competing project requirements.
Required Skills:
Oversee the development activities of the ESB team by defining work packages, setting timelines, assigning resources and managing ESB development tasks and risks to ensure successful delivery of ESB and ETL components
· Define and manage ESB deployments and change control processes
- Ensure that appropriate ESB documentation standards are developed and ensure that appropriate documentation is created
- Design, implement and oversee appropriate data quality checks and policies to ensure that data provided is robust and accurate
- Expand on the existing Error handling and monitoring to ensure highly scalable, self servicing environment to enable the various IS teams to self serve in the environment.
- Work with the Enterprise Architecture team and COE to define the overall ESB/SOA architecture
Qualifications Desired:
The accomplished individual will possess...
- 5-7+ years of experience building and maintaining BI applications
- 3+ years managing system projects
- Experience in maintaining a production ESB/SOA environment a must, Experience in establishing the environment a plus
- Ability to manage a team of full-time staff and off-shore contractors
- Demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility in ESB responsibilities
- Thorough knowledge of ESB/SOA best practices and operations in order to evaluate, recommend, and propose solutions and methods for use across projects
- Significant experience with the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise ESB systems using best of breed platforms (i.e. Message Broker, Tibco, etc) and / or home grown system
- Knowledge of principles, techniques, and best practices of enterprise data movement and management
- Must be available to work to support multiple time zones when required
- Management style that exhibits high energy, strategic thinking, collaboration, direct communication and results orientation
- Effective in matrix management and team building
- Ability to instill and reinforce a strong customer service and business-oriented ethic in the entire team
- The ability to balance between data needs and requirements for action
- Strong management and leadership skills with a proactive participative management style
- An ability to work well and productively, always projecting a positive outlook in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to facilitate discussions and drive toward quick decisions
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communications skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills required
- Retail experience preferred
- SAP knowledge a plus
