SAP Project Manager(Release)
Location: PA
This is a long term contract for a Project Manager who has experience implementing SAP releases.
The consultant must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and must have excellent communication skills.
This client is located in Wayne, PA and usually requires face to face interviews.
Client has an immediate opening for a Project Manager who has SAP Release Management experience.
The Project Manager develops, refines, validates and manages project plans to ensure on time and on budget delivery of projects within the IT program.
The PM will be working with Process Teams for small to mid sized release management projects.
Each of these projects will go into production every 7-8 weeks.
REQUIREMENTS:
" Requires full project life cycle and team leadership experience with large-scale SAP implementations specifically in managing functional teams; normally requires a minimum of four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience
" Experience with SAP Release Management and one of the following: Plan to Distribute/ Procure to Pay/ and Financial Planning Module is strongly preferred
" Must have experience working on concurrent projects simultaneously (ie.. 10 projects at a time)
" Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage projects of various diverse scope in a cross-functional environment
" Experience in working in an outsourced development environment
" Working knowledge of both business process and technical support streams within SAP including the development of executable workplans following standard SAP project methodology
" PMP Cert is a plus
" Experience in working with release management, resource allocation, and supply planning is strongly preferred
" Expertise in project management support tools like HP Quality Center, Clarity/Open Workbench, MS Project, SAP Solution Manager
" Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; interacts with all levels of associates and management within the organization
" Thorough knowledge and understanding of business principles, processes and technology
" Ability to organize, plan, and implement projects of various size and scope
" Strong knowledge of computers to operative effectively with PowerPoint presentations, Microsoft Project, Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook
