Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 6+ Months

Must-haves
-BS Software Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science
-5+ years as a software QA Engineer for systems software infrastructure, databases and web components in product development (systems level testing)
-Database knowledge with Oracle and/or SQL
-Development background in Java or C#
-Automation experience using test tools like Smart scripts, selenium, WinRunner, Quick Test Pro, LoadRunner, etc
-Whole systems level experience configuring systems, installing new features, administration of Windows, Linux and/or Solaris machines, security, etc.
 
They need one of the two:
-IPv6
OR
-Web services testing experience (soapUI)-they need to be able to write their own XML and own requests from scratch

Day-to-Day
A RTP, NC company that develops green energy technology is looking for a Software Test Engineer.
This individual will be part of a fast-paced Agile development team engaged in building integration APIs.
In this role he/she will develop and conduct manual and automated tests, as well as participate in conducting root cause analysis, debug, defect tracking and documentation.
