Job Profile: Wise Packaging Engineer
Job Location: Delaware
Job Duration: 9 months
The work duration will be 9 months with a possibility for Extension.
Job description/ Key responsibilities
Application packager with a min of 4-5 years of experience.
* Design, deploy, maintain, and customize software for network distribution with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
* Work with business users to gather software configuration requirements
and design solutions
* Package applications using Windows Installer (MSI) based technologies for deployment on the corporate desktop using Flexera Software (Previously Macrovision) AdminStudio 8.6 or later and Flexera Software (Previously Macrovision) enterprise package management system (WFM) and installshield 2008/2010.
* Sequencing Applications for delivery using Microsoft's Application Virtualization technologies.
* Test package functionality on desktop build to ensure compliance with standards and functionality of application.
* Perform user acceptance testing.
Essential skills/background
*Expertise in Sequencing using App-V
*Expertise with Install Shield Admin Studio 8.6 or above.
*Strong knowledge of MSI packaging.
*Strong knowledge of Windows and standard operating system environments.
*Ability to think logically to resolve problems.
*Ability to work well with vendors to resolve problems.
Desired skills/background
*Experience with SCCM.
*Experience with App-v Technologies.
*VBScript \ Automation skills.
