My name is Alex, and I am a Recruiting Manager, Talent Acquisition for KTek Resourcing. K-Tek Resourcing, Inc. is an innovative force in the IT Staffing Industry based in Houston, TX. We are Tier one vendors to major pharmaceutical/financial companies and other fortune clients and for same we are searching forward to a Java Developer for a position with client in Atlanta, GA.
Bachelors in IS or Computer Science is preferred but consideration will be given for equivalent experience.
* Excellent knowledge of Struts framework, JSPs, EJBs and various design patterns.
* Good working knowledge of the complete SDLC lifecycle of an enterprise application.
* Good working knowledge of Visio, UML and other design tools. Must be able to express designer using industry standard drawings and illustrations.
* Experience with BEA Weblogic Server 8.1 + for application deployment. Knowledge of internals is a plus.
* Expert knowledge of relational databases, including schema design, advanced queries and building stored procedures.
* Experience with Open-Source Technologies and libraries is required (e.g.: Jakarta Commons, struts, tiles, JQuery etc.,).
* Excellent time management skills and ability to take responsibility for deliverables
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to create new proof of concepts and implement them into usable, enterprise class applications/components.
* Demonstrate technical leadership experience including managing timeline in a fast-paced environment.
* Stays current with rapidly changing technology and applies it to business needs.
* Sun Java Certification is a plus.
