Client is looking for QA Automation Engineer – Jersey City, NJ. This is a 6-12 months contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.

 

Job Requirements:

·         We are looking for a self-motivated professional with a very strong background in JAVA to become part of the QA Automation team.

·         We prefer someone who has worked as part of a testing organization and can translate test cases into meaningful automated scripts. Candidate must be able to manage time efficiently and prioritize assignments based on direction provided. The candidate must have very strong communication (verbal and written) skills.

·         Above all, this candidate must possess a mature, responsible, calm and extremely professional personality.

 

QA Automation Engineer Desired Experience:

·         Insurance Industry Knowledge

·         Use knowledge of the various disciplines within the insurance industry to understand how tasks they work on allow ISO to better serve the Insurance industry.

 

Agile Methodologies

·         One to two years experience working in an Agile environment with an understanding of how testing should be done on Agile projects.

 

JAVA

·         Experience with JAVA 5 or later is a must.

·         Familiarity with JUnit and Mocking frameworks.

·         Knowledge of Eclipse IDE's

 

Technical Skills

·         Leveraging their JAVA knowledge, be able to quickly learn testing tools and automate tests including performance and regression scripts as well as production monitoring scripts.

 

Experience in any of the following tools would be preferred but not mandatory:

·         Selenium

·         JMeter

·         IBM Rational Performance Tester (RPT)
