Position: Network Administrator

Location: Eagan, MN

Duration: 6 months

 

Job description:-

 

Cisco CCIE, Juniper JCIE or individual Network Specialist training to demonstrate expert knowledge of technologies such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP and RIP Firewalls and other network security controls Expert knowledge of standard and emerging layer 2 technologies such as STP, MPLS, VPNs, Ethernet, and Frame Relay Load Balancing including hardware appliances High availability design knowledge and skills Voice over IP Cloud services

Will analyze and evaluate customer requirements characterized by technical and analytical requirements.  Will have responsibilities in the service architect role to establish the vision for how best to technically integrate network services to better meet SLA and OLA objectives. Will work closely with internal IT customers and external business customers to evaluate the network infrastructure and determine strategy and vision within an IT service management framework.  Constructs sound, logical business improvement opportunities consistent with corporate Information Management guiding principles, cost savings, and open system architecture objectives.  Provides daily supervision and direction to team members

Ability to respond to and understand client's needs and requirements. Verbal communications skills to explain the application of cost-effective technology alternatives to meet business requirements. Ability to effectively present information in verbal or written form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions Proven facilitation & teamwork skills. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

·         Eight (8) to ten (10) years of network administration experience with at least 10+ years of overall IT experience.  ·         Demonstrated hands on network expertise. ·         Track record of developing business relationships with internal and external clients. ·         Ability to assess current state network architectures ·         Experience in high availability and business continuity environments.
