Role Network Lead (LAN L3)
Job Summary * The Network Engineer is responsible for overall network operation , administration & management of customer network. ( Data +Voice )
* Responsible for performing advanced Support and routine complex troubleshooting activities, working independently under minimal supervision.
Key Accountabilities * Resolve customer requests, issues in line with customer agreements with agreed schedule to required quality standards
* Ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction levels exceed targets
Key Tasks & Activities * Manages delivery team of L2 Engineers.
* Performs Root Cause Analysis
* Tracks and updates key performance metrics.
* Manages and overseas shift handover process
* Acts as point of contact for all service delivery issues/ pending work/ escalations
* Project Management
* Provide team support and process improvements through individual contributions.
* Handles escalations
* Participate in routine operational meetings
* Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow: Studies and standaradizes procedures to improve effeciency and effectiveness of IT core LAN operations.
* Performs advanced remote/on site troubleshooting activities encompassing system design issues, upgrade plans, creation of technical product documentation, upgradation & site coordinations.
* Initiates network improvement recommendations based upon experiences in field
* Provide onsite operations and admin consultancy during system administration & maintenance

Min. Qualifications & Exp. * Qualifications *
a. Bachelor degree within the IT or equivalent
b. Minimum of 4 years experience in the network industry;
c. CCNP certification is minimum requirement
d. Must have worked in ITIL environment
e. Minimum of two years on large network environment for mission critical support environment and a minimum of two years product knowledge acquired through a mixture of empirical and formal certification
f. Must have managed 7-10 people team
g. The ability to communicate technical details and concepts to at least senior management level within a customer organization,
h. In depth knowledge of and experience with Cisco, Nortel, Ericssion(earlier passport)

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills;

* Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio)
