ROLE: Build Engineer

 

Location - Austin, TX

 

Duration - 24 Months

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

•         Experience with automated build process for compilation, build, deploy, alerts and build reporting.

•         Experience with evaluating new tools, technologies, processes to improve reliability, repeatability, efficiency of builds and releases.

•         Experience in scripting with Maven, ant and other tools

•         Experience in Unix, Perl, PHP script writing

•         Experience with of Clearcase and UCM methodologies .

•         Experience with RAFW

•         Experience with Build forge.

•         Experience in setting up, configuring, deploying to Websphere.

•         Experience in writing custom scripts to web sphere application server.

•         Good oral and written communication skills to collaborate with Development, QA, and IT Operations Teams.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•           Oversee and coordinate configuration management, build and release activities.

•           Refine our existing automated build process and regularly identify build errors and notify appropriate teams.

•           Collaborate with Development, QA, and IT Operations to implement releases.

•           Identify new tools, technologies, processes to improve reliability, repeatability, efficiency of builds and releases.

•           Work with development in validating configurations of applications and changes from one release to the next.

•           Participate in weekly / bi-weekly on call support including weekends

Builds and deployment.
