eCommerce is looking for a LoadRunner Performance Engineer. This candidate will be responsible for the performance testing efforts for high visibility projects and will be expanding out the performance testing infrastructure. He/She should have a well rounded set of skills and technologies running on both Windows and non-Windows platforms. The candidate should be able to multi-task high priority projects and deliver results on time.   This position requires the ability to communicate to multiple teams with varying expertise.

Requirements

-          Performance testing Project Management experience

-          Must have previous experience performance testing applications in a large scale enterprise environment

-          Must have at least 2 years experience with Mercury LoadRunner 9.0 or higher using the Web Protocol

-          Solid understanding of the HTTP Protocol, TCP/IP, and GET/POST requests

-          Solid understanding of Browser page rendering and object rendering

-          Strong development in C++ and object oriented principles

-          Experience performance testing through firewalls and proxy servers

-          Experience executing tests against specific servers within a clustered environment

-          Experience installing and using agents to execute performance tests

-          Experience analyzing results of performance tests and making recommendations

 

-          Should have at least 2 years previous development experience

-          Ability to see the big picture

-          Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-          Ability to mentor/train others if needed

Pluses

-          Mercury suite applications including SiteScope, and other apps like JMeter

-          JSP or Java development experience

-          Weblogic  is a big plus

-          Sun, Solaris

-          Oracle

-          Custom app development

-          Atlassian Toolset
