Sureshot Position

Senior JAVA/C++ Developer

Location: Menlo Park, CA (Need in-person after telephonic)

Duration: 6 months

Professional and Technical Skills:

·         Min 7-10 years of overall web-based application development work experience, using JAVA/C/C++/PERL language and any standard RDBMS database on Linux/UNIX platform.

·         Should have worked a min of 2 years on C/C++ and Embedded SQL programming for database access, preferably Sybase, on Linux/Unix platform.

·         Should have extensively used Web Technologies including AJAX/JavaScript & XML and should have working knowledge on JWS/AXIS/XSD/WSDL web service development.

·         Strong Working Knowledge on Perl and Shell programming and familiarity with editors such as 'vi' are required.

·         Work experience/knowledge on middleware product like BEA's Tuxedo is desired.

·         Should have used Maven and CVS/SVN or comparable version control system.

·         Experience using Eclipse IDE based development is required.

·         Knowledge on LDAP/Netegrity Siteminder or other security products is a plus.

·         Very good knowledge of software development life cycle is required.

·         Excellent communication and analytical skills with an open mind to different opinions from peers and business partners are expected.

·         Should be adaptable to learning new technologies and able to work in a challenging environment.
