Java Opening - Direct Client

We have a new requirement for a Java  consultant  and we are looking for candidates with the skill set as described below. This position will be initially for a 6 -12 month period with the option to  re-new for another 6 months. We would be looking to begin interviewing/screening  candidates next week  with the intention to have the candidate on-board in the new year ( or earlier of candidate is available).

QUALIFICATIONS

 

1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, a master's degree will be a plus.
2. 3-5 Years of J2EE development experience and development methodologies
3. 3-5 Years  of experience in JSF/RICHfaces, JBoss seam, JPA/Hibernate, JQuery, CSS, XML.
4. 3+ years experience with JBOSS AS
5. 3+ years of configuration management of J2EE applications
6. Excellent software development skills; strong skills in MySQL development, database integration with web based applications.
7. Strong analytical aptitude.
8. Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, evidenced by the ability to communicate complex technical subjects to senior management and non technical audiences.
10. Team player with the ability to work productively with internal and external clients and to translate requirements into solutions
11. Ability to speak French/Portuguese/Spanish desirable.
12. Willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically, as needed.

 

 

Duration : 6 -12 months, renewed after 6 month period
