SUMMARY:

* Role: Java/Maven programmer analyst
* Number of Positions -- 3
* Location: Madison, WI
* Start: 1/9/12
* Duration: 36 mos
* Rate: $50/hr
* Face-to-Face: Face-to-face interview required after phone screen.

DESCRIPTION:

This request is for a Java programmer with experience in Maven, PVCS,
Subversion (refer to SKILLS). The resource must have
Programmer-Analyst capabilities with 8 or more years of experience.
This project will conduct the migration of DOT web applications to the
new WebSphere Application Server v7 (WAS7) platform. Prior to this
project the WAS v7 Upgrade Project to install and configure the WAS
Intranet and Extranet environments was completed.

Roles & Responsibility:

* Upgrade all applications to use Subversion, not PVCS or RSA
* Modify all applications to use Maven (Mavenize the apps)
* Modify them for WAS7
* Recompile and stage the applications
* Retest those applications in the WAS7 environments
* Prepare the existing WAS v6 server platform for rescaling/decommissioning
