Multiple BA Positions

In person interview is needed after phone screen.
 
Please go thru the requirement for each BA position before applying. Please mention which BA position you are applying for.
 
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 12+ months
Rate: $50/hr 1099 /C2C
 
QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL POSITIONS
* Development of USE Cases and mapping to BRD( Business Requirements Documents) & TD (Technical Design Documents) requirements
* Develop the BRD & FSD (Functional Specifications) STP (system Test Plans) and UAT( User Acceptance Testing);traditional waterfall SDLC
* Each BA applying for these positions should have the foundation background of understanding IIBA principals, BABOK certification preferred and have at least written over 6 BRD, FSD, STP themselves, as an individual contributor, not part of a team
* Each BA must have 7 plus years experienceEach BA must have experience in prototyping tools that are interactive -not static
* Active member or certification in IIBA is desirable
* Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) a high benefit
* Analyzes business processes/functions
* Gathers detailed business requirements
* Accurately documents business requirements/functions
* Demonstrates very strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Demonstrates strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Interacts well with business users/technical team/project managers/senior management/vendors
* Acts as a liaison between developer and business user
* Has extensive experience working under a structured SDLC
* Has experience with Use Case design/analysis/specifications
* Demonstrates knowledge of UML Modeling
* Working within a SOA environment and SOA governance model
*  Exposure to Business Process Analysis( Process Service Matrix) and Mapping with SOA
* Develops and executes system test plans
 
Position 1- In addition to above, First BA must have data validation skills. The person must have experience in the process of ensuring that a program operates on clean, correct and useful data. They must have used routines, such as validation rules or "check routines", which check for correctness, meaningfulness, and security of data that are input to the system. They must be familiar with rules implemented through a data dictionary or by the inclusion of explicit application program validation logic. The exact experience using validation methods such as check digits, hash totals, uniqueness checks etc. must be fully explained. SOA knowledge is very helpful
 
Position 2- In addition to above, Second BA must have solid knowledge of accounting operational analysis to produce an end to end process flow. The BA will be a liaison among the financial/accounting department stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to document the current process flows and rules to recommend solutions that enable the organization to better achieve its goals. The Business Analyst will provide financial support for ongoing business modeling and analysis, and business performance measurement. Work with various teams to automate daily information / reporting while being responsible for overall accuracy of reporting analytics and data integrity. The ideal candidate will have experience working with not only the finance team but working with Accounting and Procurement. Candidate should have above average communication, database such as access and SQL along with and Excel skills.
 
Position 3- In addition to above, Third BA must have solid knowledge of requirement definition using interactive prototyping tools and methodologies. Business domain knowledge is preferred in the design of construction projects. Strong knowledge in communication of business concepts to technical audiences and communication of technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Business case development and the ability to conceptualize and think creatively. Very sound knowledge in rapid prototyping, testing, verification and validation. Experience business process improvement and redesign. The ability to redesign an existing complex application with several hundred new requirements and integrate the new application with others in order to develop high business enterprise solutions.
 
Position 4- In addition to above, Fourth BA must have experience with procurement systems. Configuration management knowledge is highly desirable. Develop in-depth customer requirements documentation for matching our requirements with the application designer and workflow designer tools to configure the system to our needs. Demonstrated experience and the ability to discover cost inefficiencies and complexity associated with redundant procurement management infrastructure. In-depth understanding of enhanced workflows, event driven, and context based escalation is a must. Responsible for BRD, current and future workflow. Gap analysis to configured product. Configuration mapping to the BRD. Data collection and loading, development of use cases, testing prior to going live and user acceptance testing. Knowledge in areas of asset management, work management, materials management, purchasing, contract management and service management are required. Knowledge and working in a SOA environment is highly desirable.
 
Position 5- In addition to above, Fifth BA must have experience with Disaster Recovery
The role is primarily technical, but these candidates must be strong leaders who can communicate well. They have to understand the overall business and how it functions on the operational side as well as grasp the underpinnings of the technology.
 
Experience with data center operations or data center servers, storage, database technology or network infrastructure is also very attractive in this position.
 
Position 6- In addition to above, Six BA must have experience with IT Asset Management
 
The IT Asset Management BA will perform the following tasks:
* Assist IT Managerial Services team in documenting the processes and activities related to procuring IT assets as well as maintaining software and hardware support and maintenance agreements and service agreements.
* Assist IT Operations team in documenting processes and procedures related to receiving, staging, tracking, deploying and disposal of hardware assets.
* Ensure that processes include how PM's maintain an inventory of assets procured as part of their assigned projects and the turnover of that information to appropriate IT staff.
* Assist in documenting the processes and activities for tracking software licenses and audit.
* Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline IT processes while maintaining service levels.
* Assist in documenting reporting requirements as directed by IT Managerial Services and IT Operations
