Need Java Developer

Position: Java Developer

Location: Tallahassee

Duration: 6 Months

 

Biggest need is someone who has 3 years of experience working with an oracle database environment

 

As a Software Development Specialist, you will be working with a dynamic software development team designing and developing large-scale, high-availability multi-tier transactional systems.

Functional Description:
Required:
• 5+ years experience with Java or J2EE development
• 3+ years experience with database driven, multi-tier software development
• Object oriented analysis, design and programming skills
• Experience using Java development tools
• Knowledge in database programming and querying
• 3+ years experience using at least one major database (Oracle preferred)
• Good interpersonal skills in order to interface successfully with an onshore project manager,
clients and office personnel
• Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team
• Creative problem solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced & dynamic small company environment
Desirable:
• Experience in high-volume, transaction processing productions systems
• Experience with a recognized software development lifecycle methodology

Education and Typical Years Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or related field and 4+ plus years of industry experience.
