| Title: SAP ABAP Developer Location: Kansas City, MO Duration: 1 year Openings: 14 Client: USDA Rate: $50/hr on C2C
USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) has created the MIDAS project to meet the needs of their customers, USDA and stakeholders. More specifically, MIDAS is needed to streamline FSA business processes and to develop an effective long-term IT system and enterprise architecture for Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) farm program delivery. MIDAS will provide the means for customers, agents, business administrators and Information Technology (IT) support to access and acquire the services and benefits of FSA farm programs from anywhere at anytime. MIDAS will also provide significant improvements for oversight, management, and accountability for administering FSA farm programs. MIDAS will provide for rapid implementation of policy driven changes to farm programs administration and delivery to minimize manual processes to acquire appropriate program benefits.
Task Description:
Experience:
Possesses 1 to 5 years experience with ABAP programming and SAP Technical customizations. Experience shall also include the following:
• Technical design, development, testing, implementation, support and documentation of development objects within a SAP ECC and CRM environment.
• Experience working in a Solution Manager environment
• Experience writing reports, BDC recordings, WebIC BSP, interfaces, forms, Adobe forms, SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, data dictionary objects, enhancements, and ABAP objects
• Knowledge of CRM Middleware, BDOCS, and External List Management (ELM) and ABAP objects.
• Experience with Enterprise Portal, Web Dynpro, and Web Services
Education:
• Possesses a BS degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• SAP Certification in ABAP desired
• Shall have ITIL Foundation Certification for either ITIL v.2 or v.3
Skills
* SAP ABAP Programming Tools including Report and Transaction creation, Enhancements, Conversion Programs, SAPscript, Smart Forms, Workflow, User-exits and RF transaction programming.
* Develop and code difficult and complex programs for SAP modules FI, G/L, FM, SD, MM, CRM.
* Develop test data and analyze problems in programs.
* Write clear and logical program documentation.
* Work effectively and independently on assigned projects.
* Meet established priorities and schedules.
* Learn new concepts in information technology |

More specifically, MIDAS is needed to streamline FSA business processes and to develop an effective long-term IT system and enterprise architecture for Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) farm program delivery. • Perform quality assessment of existing mappings and ensures document procedures are followed.
• Supports Integration Test processes, Mock Cutover and Final Cutover.
• Experience writing reports, BDC recordings, WebIC BSP, interfaces, forms, Adobe forms, SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, data dictionary objects, enhancements, and ABAP objects
• Knowledge of CRM Middleware, BDOCS, and External List Management (ELM) and ABAP objects.
• Experience with Enterprise Portal, Web Dynpro, and Web Services
