Job Description:
Client is seeking an experienced engineer to develop state of the art map and LBS services in iPhone, Android and other smartphones.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and release state of the art map and LBS services on iPhone, Android, WinCE and Linux platforms
- Extend map platform to accommodate internationalization and localization challenges
Requirements:
- Exposure to Navigation/GIS/Map software development
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of working experience in C++
- Thoroughly experienced with Object Oriented Programming and design patterns
- Excellent coding and quality control skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Nice to have:
- Fluency in spatial data structures and algorithms, computational geometry, graph theory
- Experienced in handling technical and project management challenges
- Experience on large-scale distributed system and cloud computing (Hadoop, Caching, NOSQL technology)
- Development experience on iPhone, Android or other smart phone platforms
