This position provides development to support efforts which include but are not limited to the process flow, workflow and tools within Project Services & Migration and Technical Architecture organization.
Application Development Documentation
Tool Set:

Activities:
• Responsibilities in the development life cycle include:
• Resource will understand a list of given requirements which bring cross functional groups together
• Resource will engage in discussions to gain better understanding of coding efforts
• Resource will be asked to communicate ideas and designs.
• Resource will be required to document all aspects of the project
• Resource will be required to understand and code complicated
• Resource will be required to write complex SQL logic across multiple databases which reside in multiple datacenters (LAN and WAN)
• Resource will be required to think on their feet with ideas or suggestion to help resolve technical problems or limitations
• Resource may be required to meet with other technical focus areas to understand services they provide which may help with our process and workflow efforts.
• Resource will be required to help with work streams within the Start2Finish process (EADS, PRC, EBR, etc..)
• Resource will be required to make changes or modification to
• process & workflow application code based upon new or changing
• requirements
• Resource will be required to work within a team environment with good communication skills
• Resource will be required to provide leadership skills and direction
• Resource will be required to understand technically requirements such as but not limited to Oracle 10G/11G, SSO/WSSO, LDAP, JSP,
• JSF, Java/ J2EE, TomCat, Weblogic/JBOSS, SQL (also see Tool Set)
• Resource will be required to understand version controls and code maintenance
• Understand and adhere to Fedex Corporate development standards and guidelines
• Create, develop and maintain interfaces to such technology as LDAP, Single Sign On etc..
• Resource will be required to work with in a dev, test to production environment with the understanding of code deployment and packaging
