Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Linux RedHat Administrator who has knowledge about WebSphere/Apache.  

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology preferred but equivalent experience may be substituted

• Training requirements (licenses, programs or certificates)

• Red Hat Linux, VMware, IBM/Oracle application servers, Oracle RAC/GRID or EMC SAN certifications a plus.

• Knowledge and skills (e.g. demonstrated ability to work under pressure, or possesses good written and oral communication skills)

• Outstanding customer service skills.

• Demonstrates strong technical and tactical thinking

• Possesses strong troubleshooting and problem solving ability.

• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills. Able to work and effectively communicate with IT management personnel, peers, and outside vendors.

Technical Skills

• Technical background with Linux operating systems such as Red Hat Linux 4/5/6.

• Technical background with server hardware, F5 and EMC SAN hardware.

• Technical background with VMware ESX or vSphere.

• Technical background with IBM Websphere or Oracle web/application servers.

• Technical background with Oracle RAC/GRID database servers.
