4 Positions. Seeking 3 SSIS Developers @ $40/hr and one SSIS Architect @ $45/hr C2C

 

Position         : SSIS Developer

Location        :  Milwaukee, WI                       

Duration        :  Contract 4 to 6 months

Rate              :  $ 40/hr on C2C

Start Date    : Immediate    

 

Technical Skills

 

Required:Education & Qualifications

 

Required:

●              Minimum of 5 years experience in software development in ASP.NET or SSIS.

●              Experience in data integration challenges using ETL [Extract, Transform, and Load] tools and techniques. 

●              Experience with a wide variety of data sources and file formats

●              Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 as both a data source and target, and use of SQL Server Integration Services.

●              Understanding of data warehousing principles as well as transactional application practices; able to describe differences between OLAP and OLTP.

●              Expert knowledge of T-SQL.

●              Good problem solving and analytical skills.

●              Ability to successfully manage multiple task assignments across several projects.

●              Familiarity with following a methodology.

●              Experience with MS Office software (Excel, Access, Word).

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

●              Learn existing data structures, processes, and environment.

●              Assist in defining project scope for enhancements and new work.

●              Assist in establishing and documenting requirements and specifications.

●              Build, test and implement efficient and effective processes using organizational tools (SQL, SSIS, some Informatica, and others) that satisfies documented requirements and follows standards.

●              Build, test, and execute one-off procedures as needed to support business commitments.

●              Answer business user questions.

●              Investigate and resolve issues or problems that arise.

●              On call for production troubles.

●              Create application and development related documentation as requested.

●              Assist in continually improving work-group related standards and practices.

●              Actively pursue attaining and maintaining expertise with organizational tool sets; exploring new or improved options.

 

Not required but a plus:

●              Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturers and pharmacy benefit management.

●              Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 DTS, Informatica, Data Junction.

●              Abilities in performing some application-focused database administration tasks within SQL Server 2000/2005, such as creating tables, building indexes, and evaluating a query's execution plan.

●              Experience in assuming a project lead role at times.

●              Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related area; Microsoft Certification.

●              Experience working with medical and prescription drug claim data.

●              Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturers and pharmacy benefit management.
