A quick overview of the requirement in 5 bullet points would be;
- Agile Developer take direction from Sr Agile Developer (Currently on-site from Oracle)
- Work to understand how customer has implemented Agile
- Assigned Agile development projects to complete
- Mentor internal development staff on Agile (up to 2 resources)
- Offer Recommendations on improvement opportunities
- Work towards taking over Agile Lead position
A Detailed Job Description is given below;
Required Technical Skills
o Minimum of 3-5 years of Java development experience
o Good working knowledge of PLM systems, especially Agile PLM 9.2 or higher
o Experience with the Agile Software Development Kit (SDK), developing process extensions, utilities, etc.
o Familiarity with Agile modules: PC, PQM, PCM, PG&C
o Experience building stand-alone Java utilities and web applications
o Experience developing and using Web Services
o Comfortable using Java Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
o Ability to quickly develop proof of concept applications for customer demos or to perform project feasibility analysis
- Required Business Acumen
o Good communication skills, including the ability to listen to customers' requirements, propose innovative solution, translate business needs into technical requirements, and document requirements and products
o Good working knowledge of engineering/manufacturing change management practices
o Experience writing technical specifications
o Ability to scope a project, develop an estimate of effort, and anticipate project risks
o Excellent attention to detail
- Desirable
o PL/SQL experience, including the ability to create batch scripts to bulk-extract data from an Oracle database
o Experience with Agile PLM 9.3's Event framework
o Familiarity with Groovy Scripting
o Familiarity with Linux Operating System
o Experience with ERP systems, especially Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, and JDEdwards
o Experience with enterprise software integrations
o Familiarity with Apache Tomcat, Oracle Application Server, and/or WebLogic Server
o Industry experience in manufacturing, medical device, high tech, or automotive verticals
