Position - SAP Info Sec Spec(Junior)

Location - Harrisburg, PA

Duration - 8 months (will be extended)

Overview:

 

The resource in this position assists in the assessment, design, implementation, maintenance and support of SAP application security for SAP system.

 

Work includes IT security administration in the implementation and maintenance of the security roles and profiles for employees and all users of the SAP system; reviewing all security role changes to the production environment and ensuring all role changes are communicated to the business operations teams and end users.
In conjunction with the ITS Technical and Functional teams, work also includes coordinating SAP support pack updates and the testing and auditing of the security roles; and providing knowledge transfer to IT Security Administrators.

  

Skill set:

 

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills and customer focus.

·         Administer and maintain security roles and profiles in a SAP environment.

·         Analyze and resolve problems related to access control, user administration, and operating level system security in a SAP environment.

·         Maintain appropriate security configurations and options for SAP environments.

·         Researches SAP enhancements and assists with the development of testing and implementation strategies for the integration of the enhancements with the

·         Review SAP system reports to monitor system settings and controls.

·         Assist with the development of standard operating procedures to perform SAP production support activities

·         Assist with coordination, implementation and testing of SAP support pack updates involving system security or role performance.

·         Assist with administration and configuration of VPN accounts and software for remote access to SAP environment.

·         Assist with administration and configuration of laptop encryption accounts and software

·         Assist with security audits of applications, operating systems, and procedures.

·         Periodically review violation reports and work with management to resolve violations.

·         Maintain manuals and procedures to document and support the Department's information security program and provides knowledge transfer to agency IT administrator.

·         Review application design strategies to determine proper interface with security software & to ensure appropriate data security safeguards & standards
