Need for WebSphere Administrator, East Elmhurst, NY - F2F required

WebSpehere Administrator

Location: East Elmhurst, NY

Duration: 7 months

Rate: Open

 

In-person at the client location required

 

Skills:

·        5+ years of strong experience and in-depth knowledge of installing, administering and maintaining IBM WebSphere application servers 6.0/6.1/ 7.0/8.0 in a Linux environment.

·        Strong experience in maintenance of http web servers/load balancers.

·        Experience in deploying web based application in a clustering environment.

·        Experience with performance testing of web application to determine memory utilization, GC for WebSphere application servers / web server.

·        Ability to do performance tuning of WebSphere app server(s)/web server(s) environment. Provide solutions to resolve out of memory issues

·        JVM (Java Virtual Machine) heap tuning.

·        Ability to code in one or more scripting languages such as JACL/Jython, shell scripting, Perl.

·        Administer IBM WebSphere portal.

·        Strong experience and in-depth knowledge of SuSe or RedHat Linux servers.

·        Experience in disaster recovery, backup and restore processes
