Job Title: GBI (Global Business Intelligence) Technical Lead – Teradata
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration:- Long Term
Job Description:
• Minimum 8 + years of IT experience
• Drives and challenges business units on their requirements.
• Presents Functional Requirements Specification (FRS) to the Delivery team, clarifies any questions and participates in FRS review meetings.
• Creates conceptual and logical data model.
• Continues to support the Delivery team during the design and development.
• Understands any design gaps from the Delivery team and works with business to mitigate the gaps.
• Develops functional test case documents and supports PM with test strategy development.
• Performs the functional and performance testing after Delivery team completed the system integration testing in the test environment.
• Identifies any solution issues and works with Delivery team to resolve them.
• Supports business team during UAT and works with Delivery team to resolve any solution issues.
• Ensures issues are identified tracked and reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
• Supports the business training and involves the training team as needed.
• Validates new solution after go live and supports the business in resolving issues by working close with the Delivery team.
• May work on multiple projects at the same time.
• Familiarity with Teradata database and tools
• Creates/changes reports in UI application (BOBJ, Tableau,) if no development is required to change underlying structure.
