Microsoft Exchange Systems Engineer

Location: Frankfort, KY

Long term project

 

Enterprise Services:

Client will be upgrading Exchange 2003 environment to Exchange 2010 as well as implementing Microsoft Lync 2010.

We are seeking an engineer with the skills and experience as outlined below.

The projected starting date will be January 16, 2012

 

Technical Expertise:

Experience with Microsoft Exchange systems engineering

Experience in implementing and deploying Exchange 2010

Lync 2010 implementation experience

Moderate to extensive messaging/collaboration administration experience.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents and assist in the day-to-day management of our Exchange environment

SQL experience

Network planning/firewall/load balancer/reverse proxy experience

Hardware troubleshooting skills

SharePoint 2010 experience a huge plus

 

Professional Skills:

Team player with good communication skills, e.g., clear explanation of ideas, problem resolution, risk mitigation

Ability to work with various departments to improve and maintain the enterprise environment

Task/process oriented with the ability to meet deadlines

Flexible, self-starter/works on own initiative

Good documentation skills

Professional attitude
