Urgent Need ------ SharePoint Admin / Developer

SharePoint Administrator / Developer – Consultant/Senior Consultant

 

Configuration, Installation, backup, and support for implementation and production of SharePoint servers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

•Assist in coordination of software installation and upgrades in a SharePoint 2010 environment.

•Monitor and administer SharePoint 2007/2010 servers.

•Monitor system performance and capacity of environment.

•Perform backup and recovery. 

•Troubleshoot problems and take the appropriate corrective action.

•Interact with IT staff or vendors in performing complex testing, support and troubleshooting functions.

•Perform installations, maintenance, and support, and related documentation

•Coordinate basic user administration (adds, changes, deletes, disk space management).

•Document standards and operating procedures and acting as technical resource to the IT staff and systems users.

•Participate in, support, and enhance daily Operations opening and closing procedures.

•Create documentation and perform technical training.

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

•2-5 years' experience in SharePoint administration.

•Background in Microsoft Systems/Network administration.

•Ability to troubleshoot client server applications, web site, DNS and general IP based network related issues.

•Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with a wide variety of internal and external personnel.

•Excellent communications skills with an emphasis on follow-through and tracking.

•Ability to multi-task and coordinate problem resolution management.

•Ability to take initiative and plan effectively for themselves and those they lead.

•Ability to anticipate and prevent potential user problems.

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS THAT ARE NICE TO HAVE:

 

Experience with IT consulting in enterprise class accounts

Knowledge of SharePoint FAST Search Server
